Giving and revoking open banking permission

Open banking is opt-in and read-only — you authorise it through your own bank, it can only view data, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Steps

  1. To grant it: during your application or in settings, choose to connect via open banking; you're sent to your bank's secure page to authorise read-only access.
  2. What it does: lets us view transaction data to assess affordability — it cannot move money.
  3. To withdraw it: revoke the permission in your bank's open banking or third-party access settings at any time.

Good to know

Open banking often means a faster, better decision because it shows real, current trading. It is regulated and secure. Learn more in how your data is used and the Learn hub.
