Setting up a second administrator

One administrator is a single point of failure. Adding a second administrator means the account is never stranded if one person is away or leaves.

Steps

  1. Sign in as an administrator and open Users.
  2. Add the second person as a user if they aren't already — see adding a user.
  3. Set their role to Administrator.
  4. Have them secure their login with a password and 2FA.

Good to know

Two directors, or a director and a trusted finance lead, is the usual pairing. Keep the number of administrators small — they can change everything — but never leave it at one. See roles and permissions.
