When to report
Report to us if you receive a message impersonating Credit Corp, notice a sign-in or change you did not make, believe your login details may have leaked, or have been targeted by a scam that references your borrowing. You do not need to be certain — a suspicion reported early is far more useful than a confirmed loss reported late.
How to report
Sign in and use the Report a problem or Security option in your account, or contact our support team through the details on your statement or on credicorp.co.uk. If it is a phishing email or text, forward it to us with the original sender visible rather than a screenshot where possible, so we can trace it. Include what happened, when, and anything you clicked or entered.
What we do next
When you report suspected fraud we can place a heightened watch on your account, step up verification on sensitive actions, and help you reset any compromised credentials. If a scam is impersonating our brand, your report helps us get the fake site or number taken down, protecting every other borrower. We will confirm what we have done and what, if anything, we need from you.
Report to the wider authorities too
For fraud in the UK you can also report to Action Fraud (the national reporting centre) and, for a suspicious text, forward it to 7726 (spells SPAM) — a free service that helps networks block scam numbers. Reporting in both places gives the best chance of disruption. None of this replaces securing your own account first: change your password and review your sessions straight away.
Frequently asked questions
What information should I include?
What happened and when, the sender's address or number, screenshots or the forwarded message, and whether you clicked a link or entered any details. More detail helps us act faster.
Will reporting a scam affect my account or borrowing?
No. Reporting is entirely in your interest and never counts against you. It helps us protect your account and catch the scam earlier.
Should I also tell the police or Action Fraud?
Yes, for actual or attempted fraud. Report to Action Fraud online, and forward scam texts to 7726. This runs alongside telling us — it does not replace it.
